TICKET CANCELLATION AND REFUND OF ALL PERFORMANCES IN NOVEMBER & DECEMBER

In light of the current situation in which the end of the novel coronavirus infection pandemic remains unforeseeable, at this time, we have decided to cancel all tickets which we have already sold for the performances until the end of the year 2020, then resell them in short periods at a time, in seating arrangements in which the appropriate preventive measures against the infection can be implemented properly according to the situation.
(*In regards to THE LION KING in Tokyo, please note that we will cancel all tickets which were already sold for the performances until Sunday, January 10th, 2021.)

All of the tickets which were bought prior to the resale are rendered invalid and will be refunded.

We would like to express our sincerest apologies for causing trouble and inconvenience for our customers who had reserved tickets.

TICKET RESALE PLANS FOR FUTURE PERFORMANCES

Shiki Theatre Company has decided to sell the tickets for our performances in December and on as per the details below.

Please see below for details on the ticket sales for each production. Similarly to the performances in November, as part of our sanitary measures, we will sell the seats by leaving the first few rows from the front of the stage empty.

TICKET SALE METHOD

(1)Online Reservation (SHIKI ON-LINE TICKET)

*We recommend the use of QR Code tickets (with the exception of National Tour productions).
*Please be advised that we will only accept credit card payments for purchases through General sales. Payment at convenient stores will not be an option.
*Before arriving at the theatre, please read the instructions and information indicated on your ticket.
You will not be admitted if you have an invalid ticket from prior to the resale. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

(2)Box Office

Advance tickets will be available for sale at the box office of each of the Shiki Exclusive Theatres during operation hours (with the exception of Jiyu Theatre / CATS Theatre).

- For our guests who wish to watch the show from the wheelchair space, please send an email with your name, contact phone number, and the title of show to boxoffice@shiki.gr.jp before purchasing your tickets. A representative will contact you.
- Same-day tickets will be available for purchase via Online Reservation (SHIKI ON-LINE TICKET) from 7:00pm on the day before the performance up to two hours prior to show time on the day of the performance.
*For A Chorus Line National Tour, tickets will be sold from 7:00pm on the day before the performance up to three hours prior to show time on the day of the performance.

- By request of the government, we are asking our guests to please register their necessary contact information from this website in order to ensure that we are able to contact you and other guests in the event that a person infected by the novel coronavirus is found to have visited the same performance.

  • COVID-19 Contact App (COCOA) – Ministry of Health, Labour, and Welfare of Japan
    Please utilize the COVID-19 Contact App (COCOA) from the Ministry of Health, Labour,and Welfare of Japan.
    This application allows you to receive alerts if you have had potential contact with infected individuals.
    *Please see below for how to download the application.
    • Osaka COVID-19 Tracing System – Osaka Prefecture
      Please utilize the Osaka COVID-19 Tracing System from Osaka Prefecture when visiting The Little Mermaid Osaka production.
      To use this system, read the QR Code posted at the theatre using your smartphone camera, and register your email address. This system allows you to receive an alert email from Osaka Prefecture in the event that someone at the same registered event or facility were later found to be infected.
      *Please see below for details.

      We kindly ask that guests refrain from visiting the theatre if you feel unwell from symptoms including the following:
      - If you have a fever and/or poor physical condition within 14 days prior to the show (including fever that is more than 1 degree Celsius higher than normal average temperature or above 37.5 degrees Celsius, coughs, breathing difficulty, general malaise or fatigue, sore throat, runny/congested nose, taste/smell abnormality, sore eye or redness of the conjunctiva, headache, joint/muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea/vomit).
      - If you have entered Japan within the last 14 days prior to the show from countries or regions where the novel coronavirus outbreak is ongoing.
      - If anyone close to you (e.g. family members, friends, or colleagues at workplaces) has had or been suspected of the novel coronavirus infection within the last 14 days prior to the show.

      [WHEN YOU ARRIVE]
      - You will be required to wear a face mask at all times inside the theatre.
      - In order to reduce crowding while queuing at the entrance, we will designate recommended times of arrival at the theatre.

      <Recommended Times of Arrival>
      We ask you to please arrive at the theatre during the two time frames below, according to your seat location.

      1. 45~30 minutes prior to show time:
      - Guests seated on the second tiers
      - CATS in Tokyor: Guests seated in rows up to Row 12
      - A Chorus Line National Tour: Guests seated in A, B, C sections or on the First Tier Row 21 and on (First Tier Row S / Row “CHI” and on), Second Tier

      2. 30~15 minutes prior to show time:
      - Guests seated on the first tier
      - CATS in Tokyor: Guests seated in rows Row 13 and on
      - A Chorus Line National Tour: Guests seated in SS, S sections or on the First Tier Rows 2~20 (First Tier Rows B~R / Rows “A”~”TA”)

      - Antiseptics will be installed at the theatre entrance, as well as in the lobby and restrooms. We thank you for your cooperation in washing your hands thoroughly and utilizing sanitizers. Please inform one of the ushers if you are allergic to antiseptics with alcohol.
      - There will be infrared thermography equipment installed at the theatre entrances. If there is suspicion of a fever, guests will be subject to temperature checks. For guests who have a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher, they will not be admitted into the theatre, and tickets will be refunded.
      - We will suspend the issuance of entrance receipts at the theatres for the time being.

      *To our guests visiting A Chorus Line National Tour:
      - At the entrance to the theatre, you will be subjected to temperature checks using a contactless thermometer. For guests who have a fever of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher, they will not be admitted into the theatre, and tickets will be refunded (please note that this will require a certain processing fee).
      - Running time is approximately 2 hours 25 minutes. There is no intermission.
      - Please show your ticket to the staff, then tear off your ticket yourself to enter.


      [INSIDE THE THEATRE/ON THE DAY OF THE SHOW]

      *Please note that some of the following information may not apply to National Tour productions.

      - We ask for your kind cooperation and consideration for maintaining a sufficient distance between yourself and the other guests.
      - The ticket box offices will open 90 minutes prior to show time, and will only serve same-day tickets. Advance tickets will be available for sale at the box office of each of the Shiki Exclusive Theatres during operation hours (with the exception of Jiyu Theatre / CATS Theatre).
      - We ask our guests to please refrain from conversing while facing each other as much as possible inside the theatre. Please also refrain from vocalizing or singing towards the stage during the show.
      - In particular, at MAMMA MIA! please refrain from singing during the curtain call.
      - Please refrain from eating or drinking in the lobby and auditorium in the theatre.
      - You will be allowed to bring your drink inside the theatre only if it is in a container with a cap or lid, such as a plastic bottle. For the time being, guests will be allowed to drink inside the auditorium, except during the show. Please be mindful of the other guests around you, and avoid facing towards someone when you do take a drink.
      - Please bring your own hand towel or handkerchief to use in the restroom, as we will suspend the use of hand dryers.
      - Theatre facilities are obligated to be fully equipped with air conditioning infrastructures according to laws and regulations, and utilize air conditioning systems which absorb sufficient external air into the theatre. In addition, the entrance and house doors will be opened to allow air ventilation before the show and during intermission.
      - We ask our guests to please come to the theatre in clothing that would allow for their own temperature control, as the heating inside the theatre may be less effective due to increased frequency of air ventilation.
      - Handrails, armrests, and other areas which are frequently touched directly by our guests are being disinfected every day. Furthermore, sterilizing air fresheners “A2Care” are sprayed on the walls, floor, and seats inside the theatres for disinfection.
      *At THE LION KING Tokyo & Nagoya productions, we will spray sterilizing air fresheners in the auditorium just before the start of the show.
      - Please note that the following services will be suspended for the time being.
       *Cry Room
       *Food and beverage services
       *Smoking areas
       *Cloakroom for coat check/hand baggage
       *Blanket rentals
       *Subtitle Glasses rentals
      - For the time being, the merchandise kiosks will only be available to our guests who come to the theatre on the day of the performance.
      - We will humbly decline gifts of presents, letters, flowers, or sweets for the performers for the time being.
      - In an effort to avoid overcrowding at the exit, after the show, we may ask our guests to leave the theatre in the order of seat numbers.


      [OTHERS]
      - Please be advised that there are productions for which there may be changes to the direction and staging in parts of the show, in consideration of sanitary measures. Thank you for your understanding.
      - Members of the Shiki Theatre Company are conducting temperature checks every day, and taking the utmost care for health and hygiene control.
      - In addition, the actors who perform in our shows are subjected to PCR tests approximately once a month using saliva samples in order to test for the novel coronavirus infection. Only those who have tested negative are performing on stage.
      - When serving our guests, we will work for the prevention of infection by wearing face masks, plastic gloves, goggles, and/or face shields.

TICKET REFUNDS

We will refund tickets for our guests who had ticket(s) to the cancelled performance(s) on and after Thursday, February 27th, those who did not attend the performances on and after Wednesday, February 26th (for seats without an admission record), as well as those who had ticket(s) to the resold performances (customers with ticket(s) purchased before the resale) after the re-opening through Thursday, December 31st.
*For THE LION KING in Tokyo, the above is applicable to the performances until Sunday, January 10th.


Furthermore, we ask you to please refrain from visiting the theatre if any of the conditions below apply, even if you have purchased ticket(s) after the resale. We will refund tickets for performances until Sunday, August 30th in the form of Shiki Theatre Company Gift Codes (please note that this will require a certain processing fee).
- If you have a fever and/or poor physical condition within the last 14 days prior to the show (including fever that is more than 1 degree Celsius higher than normal average temperature or above 37.5 degrees Celsius, coughs, breathing difficulty, general malaise or fatigue, sore throat, runny/congested nose, taste/smell abnormality, sore eye or redness of the conjunctiva, headache, joint/muscle pain, diarrhea, nausea/vomit).

If any of the above applies to you, we will refund your ticket(s) for the performances until Sunday, Nobember 29th.
(Please be advised in advance that a certain fee will be required for the refund process.)
*In regards to the performances in December and on, we will make an announcement once details are confirmed.

Please be sure to include in your email the details of your purchased ticket(s), including the title of show, performance date and time, seat number, and method of purchase.
