<UPDATED MARCH 22nd>INFORMATION ON FUTURE PERFORMANCES
(PERFORMANCES IN MARCH AND ON)
Novel Coronavirus Infection (COVID-19) Control and Prevention

Please see below for the latest updates and information from the company.

TICKET SALES FOR PERFORMANCES

Until March 21st, 2021, while the state of emergency was in effect we had placed restrictions to the number of seats available for sale in response to the administrative notice from the Cabinet Secretariat and the Agency for Cultural Affairs; however, in accordance with the lifting of the statement, we will sell our tickets without any restrictions to the seat occupancy.

Please find the details on the ticket sales for each production below.
*Please note that the above may not apply to some performances of the National Tour sponsored by presenters other than Shiki Theatre Company.

Regarding the tickets that have gone on sale by March 2021, we have been refraining from selling the first few rows at the front of the house.
This was a criterion developed by us at Shiki Theatre Company based on our own sanitary experiments. However, since then, industry guidelines have been formulated, establishing a rule to “keep a two-meter distance between the edge of the stage and the audience.”
As we have heard no cases of the novel coronavirus spreading due to the application of the above rule, we at Shiki Theatre Company will also abide by the rule of keeping a two-meter distance between the edge of the stage and the audience, according to the guidelines set by the Japan Performing Arts Solidarity Network, when selling tickets for performances that will become available as of April 2021.
